Well, it's been a couple weeks and I'm trying to think of a more satisfying outlet than strictly digital paintings. I really want to make something tangible, but my tiny apartment is not really set up for any kind of painting. I'm working on another digital painting, but in the meantime here is a strange gloomy swimming gal. Love it, hate it?
This is a painting of my sis. She looked so lovely on the day of her Ceramics exit show! Mike always says you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes, and this captures her cute and whimsical spirit. Happy birthday soon LuLu!
I did this lil' guy thanks to Daisy's suggestion. I tried to loosen up with this one and limited myself to about 3.5 hours since one of my problems is overworking things. This one was done in painter X
In an effort to get better at digital painting, I am posting this little blog. Here is a picture of a girl that I just found inspiring for some reason.
I am overall pleased with how it turned out. The BG is a bit of a copout, but all in all a good start! I would love it if some friends were to send me some inspiring pics of them to paint!
